The neighbourhood is generally quiet, despite its proximity to the station. There are several restaurants in the street (Japanese/Turkish/African/nepalese) as well as a few small grocery shops and a small Franprix supermarket 50m away. There is also a micro-brasserie next door for an aperitif. Annemasse also offers a wide variety of shops and services. A hypermarket is a 10-minute walk from the accommodation.
A closed parking space with remote-controlled door is included in the rental and is located in the first basement of the building. The garage is also video-surveilled. The lift with direct access from the car park is nearby and will take you to the third floor. If you have several vehicles, the "parking du Chablais" car park is just a short walk away and is very practical. Annemasse station is a 1-minute walk from the flat. Every 10 minutes, there is a direct train to Geneva and beyond (Geneva-Airport/Lausanne and Valais) as well as convenient access to Annecy, the Mont Blanc region and Evian-les-Bains or Thonon-les-Bains. The nearest tram stop to Geneva is "Parc de Montessuit", which is around 8 minutes' walk from the flat and will take you to Geneva city centre in 15 minutes.
